Zurich Sights, Sounds and Hotels

The 13th century Fraumünster Church’s spires are the most delicate in Zurich. It is famous for the ocher, sapphire, and ruby glow of the stained-glass windows in the south transept in the choir section. These windows were designed only in 1970 by Russian-born Marc Chagall, who adored Zurich, and were completed when he was 83 years old. Augusto Giacometti executed the fine painted window in the north transept. The Church was originally founded in 853 by Ludwig the German as a convent for noblewomen.

Switzerland is a beautiful country, and Zurich is no exception with its natural and architectural sites and sounds. It’s best to arrange your accommodation in one of the classy Zurich hotels and experience the rich Zurich culture first hand. If you still have energy at the end of the day, then Zurich nightlife may be just what the doctor ordered.
